I go to Ten Japanese Fine Dining in a day

25 Dec 2014 - Xmas celebration, and you might think we go for the grand turkey fiesta and Italian food. Not this time, we crave for Ten Japanese food to celebrate our Christmas. 

Huh? You mean you go to ten Japanese Restaurant?! Nah, just joking, just that the name of the restaurant is TEN. In chinese word, by seeing the chopsticks, it means 'sky 天‘, but they translate into TEN instead.

We took their lunch courses priced at RM 95++, giving us 5 courses menu! It's quite worth it, for a fine dining Japanese restaurant. 

This is the lunch menu:



1. AMUSE - 3 Kinds of seasonal plate

2. ENTREE - Sashimi

3. MAIN - grilled fish or Assorted tempura

4. SHOKUJI - Steamed rice and Miso soup

5. DESSERT - Ten's special dessert

and you get to enjoy Coffee or Tea

We order 4 different lunch menu, and here we go!


3 seasonal plate - mini yet super great, the smooth steamed egg, the one bite off unagi....wow!



ENTREE - Sashimi - beautiful presentation! A half-moon platter.



I remember this is a mini meat slices served with steamed rice, how different TEN can be!


Assorted Sushi ready to be eaten....

Lastly, their homemade green tea ice-cream


Overall, their services are ambience are fantastic. The food are served hot and the sashimi slices are fresh. And I will come back again, that's for sure!

RESTORAN CHAN HAINAM KOPITIAM 赞记海南冰 yulek cheras - petai char keoy teow, hainam coffee

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.

This time, grandma gives me this, tell me to cut down all these kinda food during recovery time. mostly ice, cold drinks, acidic food or fruits, bean stuff , you gonna avoid eating. 6 Nov 2017 - Muscle pulled and suffer knee pain, just because walking up and down in the house and lifting a 20kg toddler. Can't walk further and I give a try to come to this traditional Chinese Medical massage. So her name is Dr chow, and her son attended to me. Both are really jokers who can talk a lot of good jokes with you.
